You will be embedded with, and supported throughout your placement by our lead partner organisation, delivering vital and appreciated support in the community.
In 2006, our partners joined with another organisation to tackle the growing youth suicide rate in their town, and such has been their success, they now coordinate and deliver a wide range of community and mental health support, otherwise provided by government, through a cooperative of 15 local organisation

You will be supporting the work of one or more of the organisations as suits your interests
You will be a great encouragement to the staff, supporting them with your knowledge, and questions, and will learn from them to support your development.

You could join youth outreach programmes, work with families, support women’s services, as well as providing services within schools, colleges, and universities.
You could be engaged in:
• mental health out-patient counselling and guidance (including suicide risk youth)
• family visits and support
• community outreaches
• school visits
You can also support admin, the organisation of events, as well as other work to improve their service delivery.
