Obtaining your Licence to Practice abroad in our partner countries
The information below explains the procedures we follow to obtain your short term licence for each of our partner countries

The prices and processes listed on this page are for those joining our programs.
We can apply for your local professional licence on behalf of those not wishing to join our programmes, but different processes, and additional charges apply.
Process
Country
Through our arrangement with the relevant licencing board, foreign practitioners joining us for 01 -12 weeks, and meeting the board’s criteria, will receive an exemption from sitting the board’s exam, and also from having to do the following 3 month’s internship.
Your local health practitioners licence will be issued prior to your arrival.
Applicants joining us for 13+ weeks, must sit the board exam, and undergo a 12 week supervised internship before licencing is confirmed.
Ghana:
All applicants must be interviewed in person by the licencing board prior to support your application to practice being issued.
Our partner will take your documents to the board in Nairobi to confirm their approval in principle for the issuing of your local licence. (This may take two [2] journeys - for our partner to apply, and to receive the feedback)
On your arrival in Nairobi, you will attend for interview, and your licence should / will be issued within 5 - 10 working days.
Kenya:

Dental practitioners joining us on placement with the Sri Lanka Army, and practicing in the Sri Lankan Army’s hospitals can practice on their own licence.
Sri Lanka:

Tanzania:
Through arrangement with the relevant board, our partner will submit your documents to the relevant health board.
Once approved, those practicing 01-12 weeks, will have a their local licence certified prior to their arrival.
Those practicing 13+ weeks (or wishing to extend their practice beyond 12 weeks), will be interviewed in person prior to the licence being granted/extended.
