Each of our projects abroad is community led, originating in the desire of the local people, and local partners. Your participation on our overseas volunteering projects abroad delivers real change in people’s lives, increasing their opportunities, and providing genuine hope to underserved communities in developing countries in Africa, and Asia.

Our journey began with Paul, who, while working in Sri Lanka, was asked by government bodies, schools, and local communities to support their development, and he quickly realized that volunteers could and would be able to achieve purpose of the requests. Paul's firsthand experience in the field ignited the spark that would fuel Give A Fig Volunteering’s mission to empower you to become agents of change.
